Brian Schuchman began Commnet Wireless by building and operating the wireless networks of spectrum lottery winners, eventually securing roaming agreements with virtually every U.S.-based wireless provider including AT&T Wireless, T-Mobile and Verizon. To accelerate the company’s growth rate and penetrate new markets, Commnet Wireless sought outside capital to help fund the build-out of a GSM* network.
