Colin Mistele and Sophia Popova Named to GrowthCap's Top 40 Under 40 Growth Investors of 2024 List

Summit Partners is proud to announce the recognition of Colin Mistele and Sophia Popova on GrowthCap's 2024 list of “Top 40 Under 40 Growth Investors.” Colin and Sophia were selected based on their demonstrated ability to be a strong partner to stakeholders, including portfolio companies and colleagues, among others.

Colin Mistele is a Managing Director on Summit’s Technology team. He joined the firm’s Menlo Park office as an Associate in 2011 and was named a Managing Director in 2021.

Colin has led or played a significant role in 23 Summit investments across several software categories, including cybersecurity, vertical software, and consumer internet. His current board and investment experience includes Coderpad, DocuSketch, Foxen, Jamf (NASDAQ: JAMF), Jobber, Jungle Scout, NinjaOne, onXmaps, Podium, PriceLabs, Red Canary, and TextExpander. Colin’s prior experience includes investments in Advanced Cell Diagnostics (acquired by Bio-Techne Corporation), Gainsight (acquired by Vista Equity Partners), InfoArmor (acquired by Allstate Corporation), Reverb.com (acquired by Etsy), RiskIQ (acquired by Microsoft), TeleSign (acquired by BICS), TSheets (acquired by Intuit), and Uber (NYSE: UBER).

Sophia Popova is a Partner on Summit’s Technology team. She joined the firm in 2017 as a Vice President and was promoted to Partner in January 2023. Sophia has played an active role in nine Summit investments, many of which are focused on front-office software including content creation, martech, adtech and commerce enablement. Her current board and investment experience includes Invicti Security, Klaviyo (IPO, NYSE: KVYO), Later (formerly Mavrck), Vensure Employer Services (formerly PrismHR), Sifted, StackAdapt and Ylopo.
