Johannes N. Grefe

Johannes joined Summit Partners in 2012, and is a Managing Director on the Growth Products & Services team in Europe. His current board and investment experience includes CERTANIA, Cinerius Financial Partners, Doctrine, Energy Aspects, GRESB, OnRobot and Solactive.

His previous investments and directorships include Normec (acquired by Astorg), Peak Well Systems (acquired by Schlumberger), ProGlove (acquired by Nordic Capital), RadioOnkologieNetzwerk (acquired by Medipass), Sézane (acquired by General Atlantic), Sipartech (acquired by Blackstone), and zahneins (acquired by PAI Partners).

Prior to Summit, Johannes worked for Vitruvian Partners, TA Associates and Lazard.

Johannes holds an MSc in industrial engineering from University of Karlsruhe in Germany with highest distinction and an MS in engineering management from Portland State University. He is a German national and speaks English, German and Spanish.
