Matthias joined Summit Partners in 2015 and focuses primarily on the technology sector in Europe. His current board and investment experience includes Elatec, FNZ, Lingoda and Market Logic.
Matthias' previous board and investment experience includes Appway (acquired by FNZ), ProGlove (acquired by Nordic Capital), Signavio (acquired by SAP) and zahneins (acquired by PAI Partners).
Prior to Summit, Matthias was a Managing Director with H.I.G. Capital Europe, where he focused on investments in the technology and business services sectors. While at H.I.G., his directorships included: FNZ Ltd, Duales System Deutschland, Fibercore Ltd, AR Metalizing, International Schools of Europe, The Engine Group and VNU Media. Matthias began his career with Apax Partners and General Atlantic Partners.
Matthias holds an MBA from Mannheim University and a Doctorate in Business Administration from Karl Franzens University. He is a German national and speaks German and English.
Dave joined Summit Partners in 2010. As the head of Summit’s Peak Performance Group (PPG), Dave works with management teams to identify and execute growth strategies that build long-term value. He oversees day-to-day management of PPG engagements across all geographies.
Prior to Summit, Dave held operational and strategic leadership roles at a variety of companies, including Immco Diagnostics (acquired by Trinity Biotech in 2013) and George Group (acquired by Accenture in 2007). He holds a BS in mathematical sciences from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from Goizueta Business School, Emory University.
Dave has partnered with numerous portfolio companies on growth acceleration initiatives. Representative engagements include:
- Sales force expansion and optimization for online payment services company
- Manufacturing and supply chain improvement for a radio frequency semiconductors and components company
- Supply chain optimization for a broadband wireless network provider
- New product evaluation and introduction to drive same-store sales growth for a network of hospitals
Dave has been a competitive rugby player for more than 20 years and has served in a variety of leadership roles within the governance structure of these 501(c)(3) organizations. His experience includes helping teams raise and manage funds and coordinate volunteer efforts to give back to the communities where they reside.
Greg cofounded Summit Partners in 1984. During his tenure at Summit, Greg was a Managing Director until 2000, a member of Summit’s Board of Managers until 2005, a Senior Advisor until 2017, and a board director of many public and private companies.

Darren holds an AB in government from Harvard College and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He serves on the board of directors for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Combined Jewish Philanthropies.
Chris is a Principal on the Growth Products & Services team in Europe. His board and investment experience includes CERTANIA, Doctrine, Energy Aspects, GRESB, Normec (acquired by Astorg), OnRobot, ProGlove (acquired by Nordic Capital) and Sipartech (acquired by Blackstone).
Prior to Summit, Chris worked in M&A advisory at J.P. Morgan. He holds a BCom in economics, with high honors, from the University of Toronto and an MSc in finance, with distinction, from HEC Paris. Chris is a dual French and British citizen, and is bilingual in French and English.
Kurt Brimberry is member of Summit Partners’ Peak Performance Group and works with portfolio company management teams to help identify and execute growth strategies that build long-term value. Most frequently, he collaborates with portfolio companies to help expand and achieve greater ROI from digital transformation initiatives.
Prior to Summit, Kurt worked for the Harvey Performance Company where he implemented a number of enterprise technology systems and held a variety of sales and business analytics roles. Previously, he worked as a financial data specialist for ByAllAccounts, a financial data consolidation platform. Kurt holds a BA in managerial economics from Union College.
Ena is a member of Summit’s Investor Relations team and supports the firm’s relationships with its Limited Partners in Europe, Middle East and Asia.
Ena holds a BS, first class honors, in economics with a minor in finance and banking from the University of Buckingham and Sarajevo School of Science and Technology. She also holds an MSc, with distinction, in banking and finance from St Andrews University. Ena is a Bosnian national and speaks Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian and English.
Steve is a member of Summit’s Peak Performance Group and works with management teams to help identify and execute growth strategies that build long-term value.
Most recently, Steve was Vice President of Corporate Development at Continuum, a Summit portfolio company that provides a SaaS-based security management platform for IT service providers. Steve began his career as an Associate at Summit Partners, where he was actively involved in the firm’s investments in Continuum (acquired by Thoma Bravo; subsequently acquired by ConnectWise) and FleetCor Technologies (NYSE: FLT). As a member of Continuum’s management team, Steve was responsible for the company’s M&A, partnership and data analytics functions. He also served as General Manager of BrightGauge Software following Continuum’s acquisition of the business in 2018.
Steve holds a BS in management, summa cum laude, from Boston College. He currently serves on the board of Minds Matter Boston, a not-for-profit organization focused on helping low-income, highly-motivated high school students achieve college success.
Chase is a member of Summit’s Peak Performance Group and works with management teams to help identify and execute growth strategies that build long-term value. Most frequently, he collaborates with portfolio companies to help expand and achieve greater ROI from digital marketing initiatives.
Prior to Summit, Chase was Chief Digital Officer at CommCreative, where he led the agency’s digital marketing team in the service of clients in SaaS, logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, and cybersecurity. Previously, he worked at Deloitte Digital within the firm’s Salesforce Marketing Cloud practice.
Chase holds an AB in comparative literature with a French citation, magna cum laude, from Harvard University. Chase also serves as an active board member and volunteer for Jewish Family Service of Metrowest, a Massachusetts-based non-profit providing social services for communities, families, and individuals of all ages, faiths, and backgrounds.
Billy focuses primarily on the healthcare & life sciences sector. His current investment experience includes Hallmark Health Care Solutions.

John first joined Summit Partners in 1993 as an Associate. Today, as a Managing Director, he focuses primarily on business services and tech-enabled services opportunities and is currently a board director of 48forty Solutions, CollisionRight, OTR Solutions, Patriot Growth Insurance Services and Snap Finance.

Prior to Summit, Mike served as a Director at Elliott Management where he played an active role building the firm’s technology private equity strategy. Previously, he held roles at BC Partners and J.P. Morgan.
Mike holds a BS in economics, summa cum laude, from the Wharton School and a BA in anthropology from the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania.
Hanyin joined Summit Partners in 2014 and focuses primarily on the technology sector. His investment experience includes Fuze (acquired by 8x8), HyperLight, Keeper Security, QAD, Redzone (acquired by QAD), StackAdapt and Vensure Employer Services (formerly PrismHR).
Previously, Hanyin worked on the Technology, Media and Telecommunications Group at UBS Investment Bank.
Hanyin holds a BA in computer science and economics from Boston College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is fluent in English and Mandarin.
Nicole leads Summit’s internal talent strategy: attracting, retaining and maximizing the impact of talent at Summit. Additionally, she works with Summit’s portfolio companies to increase the effectiveness of their organizations and people.
Prior to Summit, Nicole was the Director of Strategy at BrightHouse, a Boston Consulting Group company that specializes in harnessing the power of purpose to transform organizations. Previously, she worked for the Boston Consulting Group as a Project Leader, and Deutsche Bank where she held roles in talent acquisition and human resources.
Nicole holds a BS in human development from Cornell University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Peter joined Summit Partners in 1994 and focuses primarily on the technology sector. He has invested in more than 30 companies including 18 currently or formerly publicly-traded companies. Peter has served as the Firm’s Chief Executive Officer since 2015.
Peter is currently a director of A10 Networks (NYSE: ATEN), Empower RF Systems, HyperLight, Sound Physicians, Striim and Syndigo. Peter previously served as a trustee of the Stanford Graduate School of Business Trust, a board member of the National Venture Capital Association, a director of the Asian Pacific Fund, and a member of the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army’s Golden State Division.
Antony joined Summit Partners in 2013, and focuses primarily on the technology sector in Europe, with an emphasis on software. His investment and board experience includes Calypso Technology (acquired by Thoma Bravo), Darktrace (LSE: DARK), Immersive Labs, LearnUpon, Odoo, RELEX Solutions, Revizto, Siteimprove (acquired by Nordic Capital), TradingHub and Syncron.
Prior to Summit, Antony worked for Allen & Company where he advised US and European technology entrepreneurs on M&A and raising capital. He was also active in the firm’s investments.
Antony holds a BA in mathematics from Oxford University with first class honors and an SM in computer science from Harvard University.
Antony is a member of the Advisory Panel of the Future Fifty, a U.K. government initiative to identify and support promising high growth companies in the U.K. He is a Swiss national and speaks English and Italian.
Scott joined Summit Partners in 1996 and is focused primarily on the technology sector. He founded the firm's London office in 2001, which he managed through 2016. Scott has made investments in—and served as a board director for—more than 30 companies. Currently he is a director of Invicti Security and Veepee.

While at Harvard, he was Phi Beta Kappa, Captain of the Varsity Football Team and later served as Managing Editor of the Harvard Law Review. Scott is a former Elected Director of the Harvard Alumni Association and currently serves on the University’s Joint Committee on Alumni Affairs and Development, the Dean’s Council at Harvard Law School and as a Director of the Harvard Varsity Club.
Scott was a Founding Trustee of the Private Equity Foundation, a leading venture philanthropy in the U.K. dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged youth. He has served on the Board of Directors of City Year Boston and currently serves on the President’s Council of Massachusetts General Hospital. Scott holds dual citizenship in the United States and United Kingdom.
Andy joined Summit Partners in 2008, and focuses primarily on the technology sector, with an emphasis on software. His current investment and board experience includes Furnished Finder, Jamf (NASDAQ: JAMF), Jungle Scout, NinjaOne, Output, Podium Corporation, Recharge, Red Canary and Striim.
Andy’s prior experience includes InfoArmor (acquired by Allstate Corporation), NetWitness (acquired by EMC Corporation), Reverb.com (acquired by Etsy), RiskIQ (acquired by Microsoft), Uber (NYSE: UBER), Ubiquiti (NYSE: UI, formerly Ubiquiti Networks), Wildfire Interactive (acquired by Google) and Winshuttle (acquired by Symphony Technology Group).
Prior to Summit, Andy worked as an investment banking analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions group at Bank of America Securities. Before that, he worked for ABN Amro Financial Services in Chicago.

As an Executive-in-Residence at Summit Partners, John works alongside Summit’s growth products & services team to identify new investment opportunities and advise growth-stage companies in the payments, financial technology and business services sectors.
John joins Summit’s EIR program after serving as a member of the executive team at Summit-backed FLEETCOR Technologies (NYSE: FLT), a corporate payments solutions company. During his twelve-year tenure, Mr. Coughlin helped lead the company through a period of meaningful growth. Most recently, Mr. Coughlin served as Group President – Corporate Payments where he ran FLEETCOR’s AP automation, corporate and virtual card, and cross-border payments businesses. Prior to that, he served as EVP of Global Corporate Development where his team completed 38 acquisitions and deployed $8.6 billion in capital over a nine-year period. During Mr. Coughlin’s tenure, FLEETCOR experienced a tenfold increase in both revenues and market capitalization and joined the S&P 500 index.
Prior to FLEETCOR, Mr. Coughlin was a Managing Director at middle market private equity firm PCG Capital Partners, CEO at dental services company Benevis, and a Senior Partner at strategy consulting firm The Parthenon Group.
John holds a BA in economics from William & Mary, where he was in Phi Beta Kappa, and an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
Chris joined Summit Partners in 2001 and co-leads the Growth Products & Services team. He has served as a board director for many companies and is currently a director of a.k.a. Brands (NYSE: AKA), Brooklinen, Celcoin, Quay Australia, ShipMonk and Vestmark Financial.

Meg joined Summit Partners in 2015, and leads the firm's marketing and communications programs.
Prior to Summit, she was a Principal at North Bridge on the firm’s growth equity team. Previously, she held positions at Advent International and State Street Research & Management.
Meg received a BA in economics and French, magna cum laude, from Amherst College and an MBA from Stanford University. In addition, she is a CFA charterholder.
Alex is a member of Summit’s Peak Performance Group and works with management teams across the Summit portfolio to help identify and execute growth strategies that build long-term value.
Prior to Summit, Alex worked as a Senior Manager in the Private Equity Growth Strategy team at global consulting firm Teneo, where he supported numerous private equity backed businesses in the areas of pricing & packaging strategy, product roadmap design and sales / customer success optimization.
Alex holds a BA in economics from the University of Cambridge.
Ali focuses primarily on the healthcare & life sciences sector. Her investment experience includes Veranex.
Prior to Summit, Ali worked in the Healthcare Group at Thomas H. Lee Partners. Previously, she worked at TA Associates and BlackArch Partners.

David is a Senior Associate on the Growth Products & Services team. His investment experience includes OTR Solutions, PostPilot and ShipMonk.
Prior to Summit, David worked in the Private Equity Group at Goldman Sachs, where he was involved in evaluating and executing investments across a variety of industries.
David holds a BSBA, summa cum laude, in finance and management information systems from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University.
Aditi focuses primarily on the healthcare & life sciences sector. Her investment and board experience includes Hallmark Health Care Solutions and LumaBridge.
Prior to Summit, Aditi worked in the Healthcare Investment Banking group at Wells Fargo Securities, where she covered companies across the life sciences industry.
Aditi holds a BA in chemistry and French, with distinction, from Amherst College.
Bruce is a Senior Advisor and former Managing Director of Summit Partners. He joined the firm in 1986 and has served as a board director for more than 40 companies, including 14 public companies. His previous public company directorships include Analog Devices (NASDAQ: ADI), a designer and manufacturer of high performance semiconductor products, FleetCor Technologies (NYSE: FLT), a provider of fleet credit cards and other specialized payment products; Hittite Microwave, a designer and manufacturer of communications integrated circuits; Hyperion Software, formerly known as IMRS, a developer of business intelligence software; OPNET Technologies, a developer of application and network performance management software; optionsXpress, an online stock and options brokerage; and Pediatrix Medical Group, a comprehensive provider of neonatology services and other health solutions that was later renamed MEDNAX (NYSE: MD).
Prior to Summit, Bruce sold mainframe computers for IBM Corporation in Louisville, Kentucky. He received a BE in mechanical engineering and economics, magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Bruce was named to the Forbes Midas List from 2006 to 2009. He was also a director of the National Venture Capital Association from 2009 to 2014, founded NVCA’s Growth Equity Group in 2012 and served as the initial Chairman of the NVCA Growth Equity Group from 2012 to 2014. In addition, he is Chairman of the Vanderbilt University Board of Trust, the former Chairman of Vanderbilt’s Investment Committee, a former Director of the Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and the current Chairman of the Greater Nashville Venture Capital Association. Bruce also served as the Chairman of Summit Partners' Board of Managers from 2011 to 2019.
Luke focuses primarily on the technology sector in Europe. His investment experience includes ImagenAI.
Prior to Summit, Luke worked at Macquarie Capital, working across both M&A and growth capital with a focus on the technology sector. Luke holds a BSc, with first class honors, in mathematics and economics from the University of Warwick.
Greta is an Associate on the Growth Products & Services team.
Prior to Summit, Greta worked in the Industrials Investment Banking Group at Moelis & Company. Previously, she co-founded and served as CEO of Empressed, a startup selling fashionable, feminine, women’s corporate swag.
Greta holds a BBA in finance with a specialization in alternative asset management from SMU’s Cox School of Business.
Scott joined Summit Partners in 2009 and focuses primarily on the technology sector. His investment and board experience includes Calypso Technology (acquired by Thoma Bravo), HelpSystems (acquired by H.I.G. Len joined Summit Partners in 2006. As a Managing Director, he leads investments across the technology sector. His key areas of emphasis include robotics and automation, application software, and solutions enhancing education, talent and overall workforce productivity.

Immediately prior to joining Summit, Bob was a Partner at Gryphon Investors, where he served as Head of the Industrial Growth Group and oversaw both Business Development and the creation of the firm’s software practice. Previously, Bob was a Partner at Cheyenne Capital Fund, a private equity fund-of-funds and co-investment fund, and Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Investment Policy Committee for the New Jersey State Investment Council, which oversees the state’s $78 billion pension fund. Bob served for a decade as a Partner and member of the Management Committee at The Carlyle Group, where he was the Global Head of Venture & Growth Capital. While at Carlyle, Bob served as Chairman of the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA). Bob began his finance career at Robertson, Stephens & Co., where he was a Partner and served as a member of the firm’s Management Committee.
Earlier in his career, Bob worked in the White House as a senior policy advisor to President George H.W. Bush. He held several key roles, including Deputy Assistant to the President, Executive Associate Director of the Office of Management & Budget (OMB), OMB Associate Director for Natural Resources, Energy and Science, and chief speechwriter on the successful 1988 Bush-Quayle presidential campaign. He began his career as Legislative and then Administrative Assistant to U.S. Congresswoman Millicent Fenwick and as Director of Communications and Policy for New Jersey Governor Thomas H. Kean.
Bob holds an AB, cum laude, from Harvard College and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he taught for over a decade as a Lecturer in Public Management. As Technologist-in-Residence, Tim works closely with the Summit team and our portfolio companies to assist with product, engineering, organization design and architecture strategy. He brings over 25 years of experience in building high-scale software and web services for consumers and the enterprise.
Tim began his career at Amazon, where he was one of the company's first 20 software developers. Over the years, he has played a pivotal role in Amazon’s rapid expansion, leading teams of over 1,000 people during critical phases of the company’s growth. Most recently, Tim served as Vice President of Video Experience Technology at Prime Video, where he had oversight of the Prime Video app across all platforms, commerce, content discovery, personalized recommendations, and content compliance. Before that, he held the position of Vice President of Networking at Amazon Web Services, where he managed all aspects of the Amazon network, including network designs, hardware and software development, operations, and network interconnection business development. Prior to his Vice President roles, Tim worked for Amazon.com, where he oversaw product classification, product data management and the development of algorithmic techniques for enhancing data quality.
Tim is currently a guest lecturer focused on strategic innovation at London Business School and also serves as a Product and Technology mentor at the Centre for Climate Change Innovation in London.
Tim holds a BA in international studies with a focus on Japan from the University of Washington.
Walter is a Senior Advisor and former Managing Director of Summit Partners. He joined the firm in 1989, and he has invested in more than 30 companies, including 15 public companies. Over the course of his tenure at Summit, Walter helped to establish Summit’s West Coast office, served on the firm’s executive committee and was a Managing Director until 2010. In addition, Walter served as a member of Summit’s Board of Managers until 2017.
Walter’s prior Summit board directorships and investments include E-TEK Dynamics, McAfee, Finisar, HMT Technology, Diamond Multimedia Systems, AltoCom, NetCom Systems and Xylan.
Prior to Summit, Walter was a Vice President and Associate at Crosspoint Venture Partners and a software engineer in the computer graphics field. He received a BS in engineering, with honors, from Oregon State University, an MS in engineering from Caltech, and an MBA from UCLA.
In 2013, Walter helped launch SignalFire as the first seed fund using a proprietary AI data platform to source investments and track technical talent across the globe. He served as Executive Chairman and Chief Investment Officer until 2023, when he transitioned to Chairman Emeritus and Founding Investor of SignalFire. Today as a private investor, Walter invests in pre-seed and seed stage companies in the developer tooling, infrastructure, open-source, cybersecurity, and ML/AI infra sectors.
Walter was named to the Forbes Midas List from 2007 to 2010. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees at Caltech and a former director of the National Venture Capital Association.
Walter and his wife Marcia are active philanthropists having established the Kortschak Scholars Program for incoming Ph.D. students in computer science at Caltech and the USC Kortschak Center for Learning and Creativity at the University of Southern California. They also endowed the Division Chair in Film and Television Production at USC Cinematic Arts.
As an Executive-in-Residence at Summit Partners, David works alongside Summit’s growth products & services team to identify new investment opportunities and advise growth-stage companies within the data and analytics sector.
Dr. Krajicek is an experienced operator who has built and led data and analytics companies for more than 25 years. Most recently, he served as CEO of JATO, an automotive data company, where he led meaningful value creation initiatives centered around technology enhancement, new product launches and improved go-to-market. Dr. Krajicek joined JATO following a 14-year tenure with GfK, a global market research and analytics company where he held several executive roles, leading teams of several thousand people and managing a nearly $1 billion P&L. In 2017, GfK was acquired in a take-private transaction valued at $1.5 billion. As part of GfK’s global management board, Dr. Krajicek was named CEO of the company’s research division, leading it through its transformation and sale to Ipsos.
Prior to GfK, Dr. Krajicek spent nearly a decade at ARBOR, a U.S.-based data-led market research firm. During his tenure at ARBOR, the business underwent transformative growth, scaling 30-fold and ultimately resulting in an acquisition by GfK.
Dr. Krajicek holds a BA in cognitive psychology from UC San Diego and an MA and PhD in cognitive psychology from Claremont Graduate University.
Lukas focuses primarily on the technology sector in Europe. His investment experience include Revizto.
Prior to Summit, Lukas worked for Jefferies in their TMT Investment Banking team, primarily covering technology. Prior to Summit, Cody was a partner at Lever & Dial, an investment and advisory firm dedicated to helping growth companies scale with world-class marketing. Previously, he was Head of Digital Marketing at an integrated creative agency and production company. In addition, Cody was a foundational member of the paid advertising team at Software Advice (acquired by Gartner), a premier software lead-generation firm and trusted resource for software buyers.

Prior to Summit, Yoon served as a Senior Director at MVision Private Equity Advisers where she managed global fundraisings and developed and maintained investor relationships. Previously, she worked at Citigroup, where she worked within the Mergers & Acquisitions and Fixed Income divisions.
Yoon holds an MSc in management from Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) Paris and a BA in French literature and political science, magna cum laude, from Ewha Women’s University, Seoul. She is a UK national and speaks English, French and Korean.
Nate focuses primarily on the technology sector.
He holds a BA in economics with a minor in psychology from Harvard University. While at Harvard, Nate played varsity football and served as the sole Captain for the 150th football team.
Julia joined Summit Partners in 2023. As the director of Summit’s Responsible Investing (RI) program, Julia is responsible for the development and integration of our RI approach in the firm’s investment process and operations.
Prior to Summit, Julia served as a Vice President at Thomas H. Lee Partners where she worked on compliance and ESG. Previously, she worked at Goldman Sachs both in the Merchant Banking Compliance and Financial Crime Compliance divisions. Prior to that, she worked at Booz Allen Hamilton in the Defense Intelligence practice.
Julia holds a BA, magna cum laude, in international relations and Italian studies from Brown University and an MPP from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
Grace is a member of Summit’s Capital Markets team, where she works on the firm’s capital markets activities, both for existing portfolio companies and for new acquisitions. In addition, she helps Summit manage its commercial and investment banking relationships.
Grace began her tenure at Summit as an analyst on the firm’s Credit team. She holds a BA in economics with a minor in history from The University of Chicago.

Prior to Summit, Sharon worked at WarnerMedia Discovery where she led an analytics and data science team for CNN Digital. Previously, she worked on and led data science and analytics teams at Twitch, Okta, and Upsight.

Sharon sponsors the Sharon X. Lin & Andrew R. Bullen Graduate Fellowship in Data Science at University of California, Berkeley. The award supports students in the Master of Information and Data Science program who show a commitment to gender equity.
Ernest is a member of Summit’s Peak Performance Group and works with management teams to identify and execute growth strategies that build long-term value. Most frequently, he collaborates with leadership teams to help expand and execute revenue growth and optimization strategies.
Prior to Summit, Ernest led Global Sales Strategy at Splunk, a premier software company that provides AI-powered security and observability solutions. Previously, he served as the Director of GTM Strategy & Operations for Salesforce. Before joining Salesforce, Ernest served in the U.S. Army for more than five years as a Signal Corps Officer stationed in Korea.
Ernest holds a BS in Computer Science from West Point and an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.

Prior to Summit, Ravi worked at Agilon Health, a healthcare technology and services company focused on advancing care delivery for vulnerable populations. Previously, he founded and served as CEO of Somnium Sleep Solutions, a provider of sleep diagnostic services to surgical hospitals and ambulatory surgical centers (ASCs). Ravi began his career in strategy & operations consulting at Deloitte and in investment banking at Lincoln International.

Marty is a Senior Advisor and former Managing Director of Summit Partners. He joined the firm in 1985, and he has led investments in and served as a board director of more than 35 companies, including eight public companies. Over the course of his tenure at Summit, Marty has served as the firm’s Chief Investment Officer and Chief Operating Officer. He has served on Summit Partners Board of Managers since 2001 and currently serves as the board’s Chair.

Prior to OpenView, Stephen specialized in executing retained search for senior-level talent with roles at multinational firms True Search and Korn Ferry.

As an Advisory Partner, Brian works closely with Summit’s Technology team to identify new investment opportunities in the semiconductor and communications technology sectors.
Brian brings more than 30 years of experience on Wall Street and in operating roles. He is an experienced strategist and previously served as the Executive Vice President of Strategy, M&A, and Venture Investments at Qualcomm, helping to define the company's strategic direction and long-term vision. During his time at Qualcomm, Brian led the company’s M&A and venture investment efforts, completing several key acquisitions and venture investments in several subsectors, including Mobile/RF, Automotive, IOT, AI, AR/VR and Networking.
Prior to Qualcomm, Brian served as a Managing Director in Equity Research at Deutsche Bank Securities. In this capacity, he provided strategic advice to numerous companies on IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital funding.

Prior to Summit, Kurt worked for the Harvey Performance Company where he implemented a number of enterprise technology systems and held a variety of sales and business analytics roles. Previously, he worked as a financial data specialist for ByAllAccounts, a financial data consolidation platform. Kurt holds a BA in managerial economics from Union College.

Most recently, Steve was Vice President of Corporate Development at Continuum, a Summit portfolio company that provides a SaaS-based security management platform for IT service providers. Steve began his career as an Associate at Summit Partners, where he was actively involved in the firm’s investments in Continuum (acquired by Thoma Bravo; subsequently acquired by ConnectWise) and FleetCor Technologies (NYSE: FLT). As a member of Continuum’s management team, Steve was responsible for the company’s M&A, partnership and data analytics functions. He also served as General Manager of BrightGauge Software following Continuum’s acquisition of the business in 2018.
Steve holds a BS in management, summa cum laude, from Boston College. He currently serves on the board of Minds Matter Boston, a not-for-profit organization focused on helping low-income, highly-motivated high school students achieve college success.

Prior to Summit, Chase was Chief Digital Officer at CommCreative, where he led the agency’s digital marketing team in the service of clients in SaaS, logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, and cybersecurity. Previously, he worked at Deloitte Digital within the firm’s Salesforce Marketing Cloud practice.
Chase holds an AB in comparative literature with a French citation, magna cum laude, from Harvard University. Chase also serves as an active board member and volunteer for Jewish Family Service of Metrowest, a Massachusetts-based non-profit providing social services for communities, families, and individuals of all ages, faiths, and backgrounds.

Nicole leads Summit’s internal talent strategy: attracting, retaining and maximizing the impact of talent at Summit. Additionally, she works with Summit’s portfolio companies to increase the effectiveness of their organizations and people.
Prior to Summit, Nicole was the Director of Strategy at BrightHouse, a Boston Consulting Group company that specializes in harnessing the power of purpose to transform organizations. Previously, she worked for the Boston Consulting Group as a Project Leader, and Deutsche Bank where she held roles in talent acquisition and human resources.
Nicole holds a BS in human development from Cornell University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Peter joined Summit Partners in 1994 and focuses primarily on the technology sector. He has invested in more than 30 companies including 18 currently or formerly publicly-traded companies. Peter has served as the Firm’s Chief Executive Officer since 2015.

Greg led the creation of Starwood’s Broadband Business Unit, which provides broadband internet connectivity to Starwood’s guest and meeting rooms. As a builder and user of software and hardware in large enterprises, he brings an understanding of both the IT needs of enterprise customers and consumer-based business models to his role as an investor and board member.

Immediately prior to joining Summit, Bob was a Partner at Gryphon Investors, where he served as Head of the Industrial Growth Group and oversaw both Business Development and the creation of the firm’s software practice. Previously, Bob was a Partner at Cheyenne Capital Fund, a private equity fund-of-funds and co-investment fund, and Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Investment Policy Committee for the New Jersey State Investment Council, which oversees the state’s $78 billion pension fund. Bob served for a decade as a Partner and member of the Management Committee at The Carlyle Group, where he was the Global Head of Venture & Growth Capital. While at Carlyle, Bob served as Chairman of the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA). Bob began his finance career at Robertson, Stephens & Co., where he was a Partner and served as a member of the firm’s Management Committee.
Earlier in his career, Bob worked in the White House as a senior policy advisor to President George H.W. Bush. He held several key roles, including Deputy Assistant to the President, Executive Associate Director of the Office of Management & Budget (OMB), OMB Associate Director for Natural Resources, Energy and Science, and chief speechwriter on the successful 1988 Bush-Quayle presidential campaign. He began his career as Legislative and then Administrative Assistant to U.S. Congresswoman Millicent Fenwick and as Director of Communications and Policy for New Jersey Governor Thomas H. Kean.
Bob holds an AB, cum laude, from Harvard College and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he taught for over a decade as a Lecturer in Public Management. Bob has served as a director of more than two dozen private and public companies. Tim began his career at Amazon, where he was one of the company's first 20 software developers. Over the years, he has played a pivotal role in Amazon’s rapid expansion, leading teams of over 1,000 people during critical phases of the company’s growth. Most recently, Tim served as Vice President of Video Experience Technology at Prime Video, where he had oversight of the Prime Video app across all platforms, commerce, content discovery, personalized recommendations, and content compliance. Before that, he held the position of Vice President of Networking at Amazon Web Services, where he managed all aspects of the Amazon network, including network designs, hardware and software development, operations, and network interconnection business development. Prior to his Vice President roles, Tim worked for Amazon.com, where he oversaw product classification, product data management and the development of algorithmic techniques for enhancing data quality.

Nick joined Summit Partners in 2019 and focuses primarily on the technology sector. His investment and board experience includes CoderPad, Foxen, Furnished Finder, Jobber, PriceLabs and ReCharge.
Prior to joining Summit, Nick spent nine years helping companies create value through mergers and acquisitions, working on Centerview Partners’ tech investment banking team in Palo Alto and on Goldman Sachs’ tech, media, telecom investment banking team in San Francisco.
Nicks holds degrees in business administration from Ivey Business School and engineering from the University of Western Ontario.
Jono focuses primarily on the healthcare & life sciences sector in Europe. His investment experience includes Advance Medical (acquired by Teladoc), CluePoints, Fortis Life Sciences and zahneins (acquired by PAI Partners).
Prior to Summit, Jono worked on the Retail/Healthcare and U.K. M&A teams at Goldman Sachs.
Jono holds a Bachelor of Business Science, with honors, in accounting and finance from the University of Cape Town. He is a dual British and South African national.
Charlie focuses primarily on the technology sector.
Charlie holds an AB in psychology with a minor in economics from Harvard University.
Luke joined Summit in 2017 and focuses primarily on the healthcare & life sciences sector in Europe. His investment and board experience includes RadioOnkologieNetzwerk (acquired by Medipass) and Viroclinics Biosciences (acquired by Cerba Healthcare).
Prior to Summit, Luke served as Vice President in the Mergers & Acquisitions division of Jefferies.
Luke holds an MA in applied economics, with honors, from the University of St. Andrews.
Steffan first joined Summit Partners as an Associate in 2007. Today, he focuses on the technology sector in Europe. His investment and board experience includes 360T Group (acquired by Deutsche Börse), Appway (acquired by FNZ), Akeneo, Elatec, ImagenAI, Market Logic, MUBI, Optimove, OneStock SAS, PatSnap, Red Points, RELEX Solutions and Signavio (acquired by SAP).
Prior to rejoining Summit in 2013, Steffan was a member of the management team of Turbulenz Limited. Before that, he worked for UBS Investment Bank.
Steffan holds a BS in finance and accounting, magna cum laude, from Boston College.
Steffan volunteered for Powerlungs in Switzerland, a not-for-profit focused on providing young asthmatic children with training courses in the sport of rowing. He is an American and Swiss national and speaks German and English.
Sophia joined Summit in 2017 and focuses primarily on the technology sector. Her current board and investment experience includes Invicti Security, Klaviyo (NYSE: KVYO), Later (formerly Mavrck), Vensure Employer Services (formerly PrismHR), Sifted, StackAdapt and Ylopo.
Prior to Summit, Sophia was an investment partner at Dorm Room Fund and held roles at several startups including Contactive, where she was Product Manager. Before that, Sophia worked for Morgan Stanley.
Sophia holds a BA in economics and mathematics from Yale University and an MBA, with distinction, from Harvard Business School. She is fluent in English and Bulgarian.
Alberto is a Senior Associate on the Growth Products & Services team. His investment experience includes Celcoin and Halborn.
Prior to Summit, Alberto worked in the Technology Investment Banking Group at Evercore. Previously, he worked at Bank of America in their M&A investment banking group.
Alberto holds a BSBA in finance, summa cum laude, from the University of Arizona.
In addition, Alberto is a former top-ranked tennis player in Mexico and a former Division 1 tennis player for the University of Oregon. He is an SEO alumnus and former mentor. He speaks English and Spanish.
As an Advisory Partner, Neil works closely with the Summit team and our portfolio companies to assist with engineering organization design and architecture strategy. He brings over 20 years of experience in building high-scale software and web services for consumers and the enterprise.
Neil spent a decade at Amazon.com where he served as Vice President of Technology, responsible for Amazon.com’s Marketplace Platform, Digital Media Technologies, and World-wide Retail Software systems. He was instrumental in developing products, software and services for the Kindle line of e-readers, and he led many of Amazon’s most successful product launches, including Music and DVD stores, Marketplace, Amazon China and the initial Amazon Web Services product. Neil’s teams built and designed the Subscriptions Platform and Digital Ordering systems, which are still used globally by Amazon Prime, all Amazon Digital offerings and other Amazon.com services.
After Amazon, Neil served as Vice President of Engineering for Zynga, where he created the company’s platform and led the launch of Zynga.com. Prior to Zynga, he founded Evri.com, which developed a new way for people to discover and engage with content on the web using a deep natural language approach. Earlier in his career, Neil worked for pioneering Internet music e-commerce startup Music Boulevard and BIOSIS (acquired by Thompson Reuters Scientific), a provider of indexing and search tools for the biology and life sciences communities.
Neil holds a BA in biology from Temple University. In addition, he is an inventor on several patents in the e-commerce and semantic web domains.
Advisory Partners are a group of persons employed and/or retained by Summit or any of its affiliates (and include both Summit and/or portfolio company employees and individuals not employed by Summit or any portfolio company) to provide certain functional and other services to Summit, the Summit funds and their portfolio companies. Advisory Partners are expected to receive expense reimbursements and compensation (including salary, retainer, fees, incentive equity, stock awards or other profits interests) from Summit, portfolio companies, prospective portfolio companies and/or directly from the fund, and are permitted to receive carried interest in one or more Summit funds. Such compensation will be in addition to, and will not result in offsets to or reductions of, the management fee paid to Summit by the fund. Advisory Partners are expected to work closely with Summit on various functional matters including, not limited to, business development activities, collaborate with investment teams to identify new investment opportunities, team with portfolio company leaders to help shape growth strategies focused on long-term value creation, or hold board seats at portfolio companies.
Peter joined Summit Partners in 2006, and focuses primarily on the technology sector. Peter's current board directorships and investments include MercuryGate, Syndigo and Trintech.
Peter’s prior experience includes Answers (acquired by Apax Partners), Ascentis (acquired by UKG), Healthline Media (acquired by Red Ventures), HelpSystems (acquired by H.I.G. Capital), Infor (acquired by Golden Gate Capital and Koch Equity Development), ISH (acquired by PwC), Perforce Software (acquired by Clearlake Capital), Rocket Fuel (Nasdaq: FUEL), Salient Partners, Snap Fitness (acquired by TZP Capital Partners), Solid State Equipment (acquired by Veeco Instruments) and Systems Maintenance Services (acquired by Partners Group).
Prior to Summit, Peter worked for KSL Capital Partners, Stone Arch Capital and RBC Capital Markets.
Peter received a BS in finance from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
He is a member of the Board of Overseers of the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
